The Best is Yet to Come

What do you call a school with no tests, no letter grades, no required classes and no teachers?
Is that the best school in the world?
The school called "Met School",
in Providence, Rhode Island, was started in 1996 by Dennis Littky,
a double-Ph.D. in psychology and education who'd been fired from two other schools
when parents were horrified by his unusual ideas.
Set up to take poor kids who were failing out of the regular school system,
the Met School gave Littky the perfect place to try out his innovations.
Everybody had already given up on these students,
and their parents were desperate to try anything.


this morning...as usual...I had my breakfast with the aritcles or news...
and I saw the article to introduce this school!
so I googled "Met School" and logged on their website.

at the first, I though this is an excellent idea to educate....
but when I checked out what the hell is the purpose for the school more deeply...
I found out its more like to train a machine and a prodcut, even a robot...
cuz the school is just tooooo business and trendency to profit ...
their slogan is "One Kid at one time"....which means they will put tooo much attentation on the kids...
on the one hand is good to discover the unique talent of the kids, however, on the other hand...the kid might be piss of the over cares and attentations...

but I think the originally idea is really cool!
